The company responsible for processing my personal data
Soulcycle BMX Shop, established at the Weteringschans 221, 1017XH Amsterdam, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.
Applicability of this privacy policy
This privacy policy is applicable to all personal data that Soulcycle processes from anyone who has (had) contact with Soulcycle, such as our customers and visitors.
Personal data
Personal data includes all data that is traceable to you as an individual. These are your name, phone number, address and e-mail address. Also known as personal data are your IP-address, your soulcycle.com client number and your order history.
Personal data that we process
We process all data of anyone who has (had) contact with Soulcycle. We receive those data directly from you when you visit our website, create an account and/or fill in personal data. Similarly, when you contact the Soulcycle customer service we also receive personal data from you. In other cases Soulcycle receives personal data from others, e.g. when someone sends a gift or Soulcycle giftcard to you directly. Then your personal data are your name, address and phone number (in the case when it is an envelope shipment to a foreign country).
The storage and usage of personal data
If you place an order at Soulcycle, we need certain personal data to deliver your package at the right place, but also to keep you updated about your order. Similarly, in the case of returns, repairs and warranties, we may use your name, phone number, (delivery) address, e-mail address, payment details, soulcycle.com client number and your order history. These personal data is required to complete the concluded agreement with Soulcycle.
According to Dutch law we have to save your personal data for 7 years.
Personal data in your personal account
In your Soulcycle web account we save the following personal data: name; (delivery) address(es); phone number; e-mail address; payment details and giftcards;. Furthermore, in your account we also save your order history (including the delivery options you picked and the products you ordered), including delivery options. You can request us at any time to let your data get removed in your account.
Personal data and customer service
You can contact our customer service by phone, e-mail or by WhatsApp. We can help you more quickly in the future by saving your personal data. Notes about the customer contact will be saved as long as you are an active customer at Soulcycle.com. Phone calls never get recorded.
Newsletter
We have special offers, new products and events that we want to share with you via newsletters on the regular. If you prefer not to receive this information, you can select the option to ”(un)subscribe from this list” in the newsletter. Also, when you create an account at Soulcycle.com, you can choose to not receive a newsletter by unchecking the “I want to register for the newsletter” button. Signing up for our newsletters can be done on the bottom of the homepage of our website.
We share your personal data with the following partners
Distribution- and logistical partners
We work together with multiple logistic partners like PostNL, DHL and DPD. In case you order a product, our logistic partners receive your name, delivery address and e-mail address. This information is necessary to deliver your package on your preferred address.
Other external service providers
In order to get digital support we also work with other service providers. The type of work that the external service providers fulfil for us includes digital services like hosting, maintenance and support of our websites and applications. Sometimes the external providers need personal data in order to operate effective. We only share data necessary for the external service providers for completing the job the external service providers take care of. We do not sell your personal data to these external service providers or to third parties.
Storing data
We store your personal data in the European Economical Space (“EER”). However, it can happen that certain data we collect gets passed on or stored to a place outside of the EER. This may occur when an external service provider is based outside the EER. If this is the case, we will make sure this happens in a safe and rightful way.
Security of data
Soulcycle.com takes as many measures as possible to protect your personal data, both in organizational and technological perspectives. Via a strict access protocol we make sure your personal data is only accessible for employees in need of those data.
Your rights
Right for information
You have got the right to receive an understandable and transparent explanation about how we deal with your personal data and the rights you possess regarding your personal data. Therefore, in this privacy statement we have set out which personal data we collect and how we handle them.
Right for insight
At any time, you have got the right to make a request for the personal data we possess about you. We will process your request within 30 days.
Right to correct
You have the right to get your personal data be corrected in case it is outdated, incorrect or incomplete. You could do this via your account yourself as well.
Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your data when you do not agree with the way we deal with your personal data. This right accounts for the data we make use of for the purpose of direct marketing. For instance, you may request us to no longer use your personal data for personalized recommendations purposes on our website. This right is also applicable for the use your personal data in our lawful interests.
Right for data portability
You have the right to receive the personal data we use, so that you can store these data in your personal or a third party’s database. This concerns your name-, address- and residential data, but also your purchasing history.
Right for constraint
You have the right to request a restriction of the processing of your personal data. This would mean that we are allowed to store your data, but may not use it. This right arises in several cases. If you think this is the case, you can get in touch with us via our customer service.
Right to be removed/forgotten out of the database
You have the right to request us to remove all of your personal data via our customer service. When you do so, we will remove all data, except for the data we are obliged to collect according to Dutch law.
