BMX tires come in different sizes, with 20 inch being the standard. For thickness, 2.3 inches is typical, but if you want more cushioning, you can go wider. If your frame is narrower, a smaller tire may be the better choice. If you ride a lot of dirt, a tire with more tread will give you better grip. For park and street riding, a tire with less tread is ideal for smoother rides.
