Halloween Ride-Out 2026 – Back From The Dead!

Halloween Ride-Out 2026 – Back From The Dead!

18 years after the legendary F.S.O. Halloween Jam back in 2008, it was time to bring F.S.O. back into the Amsterdam BMX scene! Together with Soulcycle BMX Shop, we organized a Halloween Ride-Out on Saturday, October 31, heading towards Museumplein.

Over the past 18 years, Soulcycle has organized countless jams, contests and events. But in the end, it's always been about the same thing: bringing riders together, riding, inspiring each other and, most importantly, having a good time. No bullshit, just rolling, catching up with old friends and meeting new faces. That's the vibe you want at a BMX jam or contest. And that's exactly what we had again on Saturday. Bringing F.S.O. back into the mix added a little piece of BMX history to the day!

Want to see what went down 18 years ago? Check out the original F.S.O. Halloween Jam from 2008! Familiar faces, solid riding and that classic F.S.O. vibe.

From Soulcycle to Museumplein

Around twenty riders gathered at Soulcycle BMX Shop before heading out together towards Museumplein. Rolling underneath the Rijksmuseum with a crew of BMX riders is always a pretty cool sight!

More riders were already at Museumplein, bringing the total to around thirty BMX riders rolling through the park and enjoying the session.

Old School Meets New School

One of the coolest things about the day was seeing so many different generations of BMX riders coming together.

From young shredder Odin Paulissen to longtime BMX rider Yorick Spilker, everyone was riding together, regardless of age or skill level. That's what BMX is all about!

Abel Scheurs also showed up with a crew of young riders from BMX Amsterdam. So good to see the next generation getting involved and having a blast!

The Soulcycle team was well represented with Shawn Douglas, Kadeem Eiland, Joeri Veul and Simon de Geyter. Simon made the trip over from Belgium together with two fellow Belgian riders.

And how cool is it to see BMX legend Joeri Veul, who was already shredding at the F.S.O. Jam back in 2008, still being part of the crew 18 years later!

Tricks, Lines & Halloween Madness

There was plenty of good riding going down at Museumplein. No complicated contest formats, just riding together, pushing each other and putting down some solid lines.

The Best Line award went to Brayden Gabriel, who pulled a long manual finishing with a nosepick on a quarter. Even better to see Brayden back on his bike after recovering from an injury!

Plenty of other riders, including our own Soulcycle team riders, were throwing down equally impressive lines. The level of riding was seriously good!

Best Rookie went to Zoé Thiry, who was flowing smoothly through the park and making it look effortless. So good to watch!

And what's a Halloween Jam without a prize for the best costume? Julian Wijngaarden took home the Best Dressed award with his awesome Halloween outfit!

Take a Piece of F.S.O. Home!

To celebrate this Halloween edition, we teamed up with F.S.O. to create a limited edition Soulcycle x F.S.O. RIP Tee. A little piece of BMX history, a reminder of the jam and a way to support Soulcycle and future BMX events.

F.S.O. Is Back!

A big shout-out to Fieze Jur, aka Dead Sailor, for his contribution to this Halloween edition. Thanks for the support and killer artwork!

More than anything, it was great to see BMX bringing different generations together. Old friends, young talents, riders from Belgium and the Amsterdam locals. All sharing the same session.

Thanks to everyone who showed up, dressed up and shredded with us!

Keep BMX alive. F.S.O. is back! 💀
